Changing Your City and the Fort Worth Police Department Partnering Together!

A few weeks ago the Lord started talking to me about these rivers. The more I’ve studied, meditated, prayed and sought wisdom about them, the more I’ve seen their importance in the life of every Believer

Well, they are! John 7:38 says, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” Whether you are aware of this or not — believe it and accept it, because if Jesus said it, it’s true!

This verse has only one qualifier, a person must be born again. Once this happens, rivers of living water can flow out of a person towards those they come in contact with and the world around them. We might not understand it or know how to implement it, but we do know is that if Jesus said it, it will happen.

When you start your day, release these rivers, at work or whatever circumstance you face. When you do this, you’ll start noticing some changes within you. You’ll come to realize that you are making a difference, because the river contains God’s life.

“Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine” (Ezekiel 47:12).

Notice, the rivers flowing out of you comes from God’s sanctuary bringing life, healing, provision and God’s goodness.

How does this apply when you pray for your city? Before you start to pray you can say, “Lord Jesus, thank you for the rivers of living You have placed within me. Today, I release them into my family, neighbors and city as I pray.”

May God’s rivers flow through you mightily!
