Ideas

Ideas are defined as thoughts and opinions, we all have them. Did you know that you can’t stop thinking.

Even when you’re asleep your subconscious is continually thinking. So, it’s impossible to go through a minute — or even a second — without having a thought. This is the way God created you to be and you are created to be just like Him (Genesis 1:26). 

You can’t stop your thoughts and ideas, but you can choose what you’re thinking about. That’s why 2 Corinthians 10:5 encourages you to take every thought captive. So, don’t let your own ideas of how God is going work things out in your life rob you of what’s awaiting for you in Him. 

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NKJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

What a promise!

God is thinking about you and His thoughts about you are one’s of peace not of evil and His desire is for you to have hope in Him for your future. He cares that much about you. 

Know that He finds great pleasure in you as you pray for the future of your city, because your thoughts are lined up with His.
