Changing Your City and the Fort Worth Police Department Partnering Together!

As a kid I’d play with a magnifying glass in the sun to burn dried leaves or wood.

I would move the magnifying glass up and down until most of the light rays were focused on one spot. Once the rays were focused, the dry leaf would start to smoke and eventually fire would start.

It’s the same thing in our lives. What we focus on will get results — some good and some not so good. It depends on what we’re focusing on. I encourage you to take time to look at what you’re focusing on. Our enemy is constantly trying to get you out of focus on the things and ways of God. If things don’t work out like you’d like them to or if God doesn’t move according to your expectations, you can all too often tend to lose your spiritual focus.

This has happened to me 100’s of times. It reminds me of Proverbs 24:16, “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” Thank God for His grace and mercy.

As you continue praying for your city, I encourage you to keep your focus on the desired result, that every time you pray, the power of peace is being unleashed and is calming all manner of storms, breaking down dividing walls of hostility between people and is influencing people to make godly decisions.

Like a magnifying glass in the sun, this type of focused prayer will cause spiritual spontaneous combustion in your life and city.
